Brian is a co-founder of Rockstead and brings extensive experience managing companies at director level. Brian is well known in the mortgage sector, having experience from building societies in the 1980’s through to specialist lenders in the 90’s and 00’s. He has built several successful management teams in the financial services sector over the past 40 years, including internationally.

Richard is a co-founder of Rockstead and has vast experience of running Credit, Risk and Compliance areas across Europe various retail and investment banks, having held senior positions over the past 35 years. He is responsible for client services within Rockstead, utilising his technical and market knowledge to ensure our proposition keeps up to date with market trends.

Helen has been involved in the financial services industry for over 25 years and has held senior manager and executive team positions with building societies, banks and business process outsource companies. A lending specialist, she has experience of new originations, customer services, collections, risk and compliance. Helen has responsibility for operations across the UK and Europe.

Erik has over 25 years’ experience gained internationally as a CFO and including a number of board positions. He is a qualified accountant and marketeer and brings a wealth of experience gained worldwide across different industries, including banking, insurance, corporate finance and fintech arenas. Erik has group responsibilities for finance and technology.

John Barbour

John Barbour

Director of Operations

John’s career covers all aspects of residential and commercial lending, from heading up arrears/litigation, operations, credit management departments through to managing multi-client lending portfolios at servicing company. He has also headed up a commercial mortgage lender as MD. His experience of securitisation, risk, governance and productivity improvements over 30 years adds extensive experience to the team.

Andy is a professionally qualified banker with over 25 years’ experience in the UK and offshore finance industries. He has held a number of senior multi-disciplinary roles and has extensive risk assessment, project management and business development experience and is responsible for Client Services in the UK.

Chris has over 30 years’ experience in financial services, having previously led management teams in Treasury Services and Structured Finance for both lenders and servicers. With a significant background in risk, compliance and regulatory frameworks, she has also managed a number of loan portfolio purchase and sale transactions for various organisations.

Relationship Manager

Ian’s 30 years + experience in financial services covers commercial and consumer arenas, in secured and unsecured products and specialist markets. His previous roles include working for an asset management company and top 50 law firm. He has headed up collections/recoveries/litigation, operations and servicing departments and has had strong exposure to credit risk and quality assurance environments.

David has over 35 years’ experience in the UK mortgage market having worked for a number of lenders including new market entrants. Over his long career he has adapted and developed his skills to support clients in National Account and Third Party Supplier management and has specialised in property risk.

Penny has over 25 years’ financial services experience working at senior manager level within Lending and Quality Assurance arenas for High Street Banks. She also has experience of the IFA sector specialising in pensions and investments for a national network. She is responsible for the execution and delivery of high-quality outputs through our project management team.
